People always get surprised about what it costs to get a good ported head. Especially a Rotax head. The math says this should be making 70+ hp on a 600.

What do you guys think?

its hard to break .38 - .40 hp per cfm @ 12 INCHES , goal is maintaining a nice flat tq cure with good peak hp

I’d rather see what the torque curve looks like.

Beautiful work.

Dyno numbers are as widely exaggerated as a mans girth. Believe what ya want to is my thought.

Got compression?

A model of some custom pistons going on a short stroke build. 13.2:1 compression on 103.1x70.4mm means a big dome, around .250". A big dome means more weight, to counter that these will receive the underhead milling to shave as much weight as possible to get to 11k rpm safely (relatively).

Another batch of parts going to a customer, just in time for next year's builds.

If you'll be needing anything CP-Carrillo for an upcoming project plan ahead. Demand is high and production can hardly keep up.

We are a CP-Carrillo distributor, dealer pricing is available to qualifying engine builders.

Working on the XL/RS600 bastard motor today. Got to a stopping point. Unfortunately, what is left to do was undone by someone else and still remains in the one single bag it came in. Time to dump it all out and figure out what goes where. ... See MoreSee Less

Taking the opportunity mother nature has granted to get some vapor blasting done. Who would have thought it would be 75° in August. No worries, we'll be back to 105° in no time. ... See MoreSee Less

Flushing out the centrifugal filter, aka slinger on a Rotax crank. I think someone has been feeding it something they shouldn't. Surprisingly, even with all the metal debris the rod and pin were not in rough shape. ... See MoreSee Less
